Thanks for visiting!
April 08 Not the end, JUST THE BEGINNINGWe are not heading to the Waist Coast, however, this has not been a waist of time. I am refocused to lose another 20 by my DIsney trip in May. My partner, Julie has 200 plus days to reach her goal and I know that she has the power to reach for the stars. FOCUS! -Carolynne March 06 FOCUSI have not been running. I have not felt well and the weather has stunk, but I feel the need to run so this weekend, even if it kills me, I need to start exercising regularly. I hope my partner and I can keep this going. We have both been struggling to hit the 20 pound mark. We need to FOCUS and keep it going. I have June as my next 20 pounds goal date and October for the last 20. This is more than a 12 week challenge, this is the year and if it takes me a year then at least I have a long term goal Those darn girl scouts delivered their EVIL cookies this week so I am struggling, BAD! FOCUS!
-Carolynne February 19 If it works, stick with itI was not as diligent about my water this week and I gained a pound. I found something that worked and did not follow through. I must say, it is very discouraging to have gained but I knew that a stand still or gain week was coming. I am finding it hard to journal, and stick to my calories and my lack of effort showed on the scale. REFOCUS, water, calories, journal and exercise. It is that simple! I feel thinner, my clothes fit better so I know that I am headed in the right direction. -Carolynne February 13 Stand StillNo weight change for me this week. I don't feel discouraged, I will try to change a few things this week, like Carolynne I need to increase my water. It worked for her--GREAT JOB!!! I am however excited that I was able to add a few of my favorite "FAT GIRL" songs to our site. I added them for fun and it motivates me and make me smile and sometimes even lol!!!! So Funny. ---Julie WATERAfter two weeks of only .5 loss each week I needed to change the plan. I took my weight divided by two to equal the ounces of water I need to drink a day. I decided to try not eating after 7p.m. which I managed to do 6 out of 7 days and I lost 2 pounds this week. I REALLY need to exercise more but the weather and my schedule are not working with me, but NO more excuses. I want another two gone next week (at least). My biggest challenge is food cravings. I am trying hard to work them into my calorie count. It is tough.
